Giving school leavers and young adults opportunities
For many years Franklin Silencers have built up an excellent relationship with Northampton College and other local training providers.
This has given school leavers and young adults the opportunity to gain industry recognised qualifications and skills through various apprenticeship and training programmes. We are proud of the fact that several former apprentices continue to be employed with us and hold key roles within various areas of the business.

We have and are always willing to collaborate with the various local colleges and training providers by sharing our experience and expertise to help them deliver industry relevant content and to find ways to help young people into various engineering roles.
Investing in our employees’ futures
Alongside our established apprenticeship program, we encourage all employees to take on further training to improve not only their own skills but to improve the overall skill set of the business.
Over the years we have provided training in areas such as leadership, welding and fabrication and computer aided design. Alongside this we also ensure all statutory training is provided to all employees who require it.
As part of our ISO 9001 accreditation, we have ensured members of staff are trained to understand the importance of the quality management system both through in house training and formal IRCA recognised courses for members of the management team and our internal auditing team. We feel this training is essential to ensure we as a business continue to deliver high quality service and products to our valuable customers.
